Save on energy. Save on bills.

Did you know that a new build home could save you up to £2,600 per year on your energy bills? *

All our homes are built to the latest standards and have an Energy Performance Certificate rating of B

(the average rate in Scotland is D)

How do we do this?

Insulation

Our homes have excellent levels of insulation to keep the heat in.

Ground floor – 100mm of insulation below concrete slab

External walls – Brickwork, Cavity, Timber frame filled with 140mm insulation, Plasterboard

Roofs – 400mm of insulation in attic

PV Panels

Photovoltaic panels convert light into electricity. Panels generate DC electricity from the sunlight which is fed through an invertor to convert to AC electricity.

The invertor is then connected to your consumer unit, so the electricity can be used within the home to contribute to your electricity requirements. You will be able to monitor what your system is generating.

Argon-filled double glazing

Our windows are above current regulation standards. Keeping the heat in and the cold out.

Green Mortgages

Green mortgages may be available for new build homes. Lenders may offer better interest rates on new build homes because of their energy efficiency. In some cases they may also offer a better loan to value amount on a new build.
